{"id":1116,"date":"2013-10-23T13:11:25","date_gmt":"2013-10-23T19:11:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hrwp2.a2hosted.com\/highroller\/?p=1116"},"modified":"2013-10-23T13:11:25","modified_gmt":"2013-10-23T19:11:25","slug":"high-roller-featured-in-nyc-5-boro-bike-ride-video-and-mentioned-in-usa-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hrwp2.a2hosted.com\/hrstagingclone\/high-roller-featured-in-nyc-5-boro-bike-ride-video-and-mentioned-in-usa-today\/","title":{"rendered":"High Roller featured in NYC 5 Boro Bike Ride video and mentioned in USA Today!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, today has turned into a fun day! \u00a0First I get an invite in my email from the Bike New York for the upcoming <a title=\"Five Boro Bike Ride\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bikenewyork.org\/ride\/five-boro-bike-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\">Five Boro Bike Ride<\/a>, and turns out I&#8217;m featured in the video. \u00a0Proving that I have a face for radio, there is a 1\/4 second clip of me on my High Roller at 1:18, but I have got the entire closing voice over answering the question, &#8220;Why I Ride&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve never experienced this amazing ride through all of New York City, you should come with us. We&#8217;re signing \u00a0up now and will of course be riding High Rollers through the Big Apple.<\/p>\n<div class=\"themeblvd-video-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"video-inner\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MPwMzkM3PPE?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\t<\/div>\n<p><!-- .video-inner -->\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- .themeblvd-video-wrapper --><\/p>\n<p>Next I get another email from my friend Pat noticing that I got a mention in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/business\/2013\/10\/23\/crowdfunding-ipo-sec-jobs-act\/3169395\/\" target=\"_blank\">USA Today article<\/a> about the new crowdfunding for IPO&#8217;s (see the first paragraph). The author, Matt Krantz, had interviewed me last year about my <a title=\"The HIGH ROLLER: Adult Size Big Wheel Trike\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/bigwheelrally\/the-high-roller-adult-size-big-wheel-trike\" target=\"_blank\">Kickstarter.com<\/a> experience. \u00a0You can see that article <a title=\"High Roller featured on the front page of USA Today Money!\" href=\"https:\/\/HighRollerUSA.com\/2012\/08\/15\/high-roller-featured-on-the-front-page-of-usa-today-money\/\" target=\"_blank\">here in a previous post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Feels like the start of a really great day!
